2007 - DEBRA Ireland

The 2007 "Happy Faces Day" benefited DEBRA Ireland, an organisation that provides support to patients and families affected by the rare genetic skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB); a very distressing and painful disorder which causes the skin layers and internal body linings to separate and blister at the slightest touch.

DEBRA Ireland also funds specific research into effective treatments and a cure for EB.

2006 & 2008 - Angel's Quest

The funds raised on IPPA Happy Faces Day 2008 went to Angel's Quest to help every family and carer in Ireland with a special needs child to have their respite care needs met and help their "Angels" to find the care they receive appropriate, enjoyable and comfortable.

Thousands of families who lovingly care for their disabled child at home are living with the, often harsh, realities of meeting their child's special needs: 24 hour vigilance, endless patience, physical endurance and emotional heartache.
